Forest Interactive Leads As Local Mobile Technology Powerhouse Towards The E-Commerce Adoption Among SMEs
SME Bank Tower, Kuala Lumpur, December 6th, 2017 – The Centre for Entrepreneur Development and Research (CEDAR), a wholly owned subsidiary of the SME Bank Malaysia, in collaboration with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) organized the 8th MindLab Series Program entitled “E-commerce: Reshaping the Retailing Business”. The MindLab Series is a knowledge/experience sharing program which aims to inculcate a competitive attitude with a positive outward mindset among entrepreneurs and to expose them with knowledge, skills, and confidence in managing their business.
Aligned with the government’s strategic interventions outlined under thrust 1 of the National e-commerce Strategic Roadmap (NeSR), the 8th Mindlab Series brought together business owners and leaders from various SMEs determined to grasp in-depth session to discover new ideas and ways how e-commerce can help resolve the current challenging business environment, competing for business cultures, diverging values as well as challenging landscape.
Johary Mustapha, CEO of Forest Interactive, was invited as a guest speaker together with Irma Izaidi Idrus, Manager of DFTZ – SME Onboarding e-commerce Division from Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) as well as Padzilah Enda Sulaiman, the Founder of Siti Khadijah Apparel.
